SORA’s campaign concept, Unboxed, celebrates the launch of both its new fragrance and the brand itself. Rooted in Japanese heritage, SORA draws on a culture renowned for its craftsmanship, precision and attention to detail. The Unboxed campaign honours these origins while elevating the brand into a contemporary context. It embraces raw materials and the beauty of handmade imperfection, inspired by the principles of wabi-sabi

The campaign spans multiple touchpoints, including illustration, packaging, vinyl applications, email marketing, and both print and digital advertising.

With a strong emphasis on craft and Japanese culture, hand-drawn illustrations became central to the creative direction. A series of Art Nouveau–inspired graphic blocks featuring intricate floral designs were developed, paired with a vibrant heron motif. These squares symbolise the idea of the ‘box’, while the heron represents the act of unveiling. An appreciation of botanicals emphasises the sensory qualities associated with SORA’S fragrances.

Visuals blend traditional and modern influences to create a timeless aesthetic – designed not only to resonate now, but to remain relevant well into the future.
